September Workshop: Yowza!

Posted on September 7, 2012 by brookr in Rails

 Learning Rails on your own?

Are you attempting the “self-taught” route to learn Ruby on Rails? That’s how I learned. But books, blog posts, and screencasts were never enough to get the ball rolling for me. I’d get through some examples, and lose motivation. Ever find a screencasts that answers ALL your questions? Me neither. And where is the blog post that teaches me the thought patterns I need to figure out my own issues?

I needed the power of live training. My “self-taught” progress really took off when I could interact with a mentor who could demonstrate thought patterns and answer my context-specific questions.

Have you’ve been struggling to get over the learning curve, and get your own Rails app launched? Have you spent hours in fruitless google searching for what feels like trivial issues? Do you feel like there is a mental model that you just aren’t yet getting?

Then join us for the Rails Fundamentals Workshop! September 27th-28th, 9am -1pm Pacific time.

We will walk you though an entire app building and launch process. You’ll spend 8 hours immersed in the language and framework of web development, working with other students and professional instructors.

You’ll learn to think like a Rails developer.

Check out all the workshop details, including my “Satisfaction required” guarantee. The first 10 tickets are discounted for those who know what they need, and understand the benefits of decisive action.

(there are also some package deals available if you want some additional 1-on-1 training in addition to the workshop)
